* - Note. The fourth kingdom is not the Roman Empire, not in it's original form and not in any so-called "revival."  Rome and Europe are not the subjects of Biblical Prophecy. Biblical prophecy centers around Jerusalem. The fourth kingdom is the Seleucid Kingdom up to Antiochus Epiphanes. After the time of Antiochus the scene shifts to the future end of the age and to the Beast more fully revealed in Revelation 13.

Chart Two
DANIEL 7 REVELATION 13
1. devours whole earth (7:23 1. all the world wonders (13:3)
2. mouth speaking great things (7:8,20) 2. mouth speaking great things (13:5)
3. made war with the saints and prevailed (7:21,25) 3. made war with saints and overcame them (13:7)
4. speaks words against the Most High (7:25) 4. opened mouth in blasphemy against God (13:6)
5. given into his hand three and a half years (7:25) 5. power given to continue forty two months (13:5)

Thus the Little Horn of Daniel 7 and the First beast of Revelation are prophetically identical.

Chart Three

DANIEL 9

The Prince to Come (Dan. 9:26-27)
1. will destroy Jerusalem
2. will destroy the temple
3. will make utter desolations
4. will cut off sacrifices
5. will cut off oblations
6. will make abominations - overspreading
7. will   make desolate the temple
8. this desolator will be dealt with

(we have serious trouble if we try to apply this all to Jesus)

Antiochus Epiphanes
1. vile person
2. makes a covenant
3. is against that covenant
4. causes sacrifices to cease
5. set up an abomination
6. this occurred for approximately
     3 1/2 years

(He is a type of the end time man of sin.)

The prince to come is not Christ. The prince is the Desolator - the Little Horn - the Vile Person - the Flatterer, or, as Revelation 13 shows he is the Beast, the man whose number is 666.

Chart Four

Daniel 10:4 says that the Grecian Kingdom is broken and divided toward the four winds. Two of the four are omitted leaving only the King of the North and King of the South of the prophetic center of the earth - Jerusalem. Daniel 11 covers the fortunes of those two kingly lines.

The Ten kings representing the Kings of the North (Seleucid) and the Kings of the South (Ptolemy) should not be confused with the ten contemporary kings which will exist, as the ten toes, at the End of the Age.
