1. There will be a happy ending to it all
When our Lord from heaven comes to claim his own,
He will take His pow'r and reign;
Ev'ryone shall praise his name;
There will be a happy ending to it all,
Ev'ry wrong will then be righted,
All be under Him united,
There will be a happy end-ing to it all.

2. Many things today we cannot understand
Yet we know God has a good, a perfect plan,
Wars and strife will pass away;
Peace and freedom come for aye;
There will be a happy ending to it all,
Ev'ry tear and ev'ry sorrow
wiped away in God's tomorrow,
There will be a happy end-ing to it all.

3. Christ the Prince of Peace is coming soon to all
He will rule in righteousness the great and small,
For this purpose He hath died
that ev'ry one be vivified
There will be a happy ending to it all,
I'm the way there is no other,
Ev'ry one shall love his brother,
There will be a happy end-ing to it all.

4. A mighty God of love is operateing all,
Guiding ev'ryone to a most happy goal,
With ev'rything that lives and breathes
Singing delightful harmonies;
Praising Him, the great Creator of it all,
Ev'ry tribe and ev'ry nation,
Hail the glorious consummation.
There will be a happy ending For us all.
